Capitular Masonry

Capitular Masonry is the continuation of Craft Freemasonry and the first step in the completion of the York Rite. Its members, called Companions, meet in Chapters under the jurisdiction of the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of the State of Arkansas, and they in turn under the voluntary jurisdiction of the General Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons, International, thus constituting the largest Masonic body in the world.

A Chapter of Royal Arch Masons confers the degrees of Mark Master, Past Master, Most Excellent Master, and The Most Sublime Degree of the Holy Royal Arch, which all symbolically take place during the actual construction of King Solomon’s Temple.
