On Monday evening, July 6, Gideon Council No. 65 of Jonesboro conferred the Council Degrees upon Companion Sterling Johnson. 

The Council was honored by the presence of Mark Kalkbrenner, Grand Master of the Grand Council of Royal & Select Masters of Arkansas, and Ron Klein, District Deputy Grand Master for District No. 1.

Following the degrees, Companion Sterling Johnson received his Chapter Patent from Doug Fausnaugh, High Priest of Jonesboro Chapter No. 79. Most Illustrious Kalkbrenner then presented Companion Johnson with his Council Patent and the Grand Master’s Pin.

The evening also provided an opportunity to recognize several Companions for their generous support of the Knight Templar Eye Foundation. Knight Templar Eye Foundation Life Sponsor Jewels were presented to Companions Ross Rainwater, William Bond, Wesley Poff, and Mark Pease in recognition of their commitment to this worthy charitable cause.
