Pre. Em. Michael P. Lockhart, outgoing Governor of Arkansas York Rite College #142, was presented the prestigious Ephraim Kirby Award today during the College’s Annual Meeting at Bendemeer Grotto. The award was presented by Junior Past Grand High Priest of Arkansas A. Ray Matthew.
Lockhart, a Past Grand High Priest of Arkansas who served in 2017, was unable to attend the Grand York Rite Session in March when the honor was originally announced.
Presented annually by the General Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons International, the Ephraim Kirby Award recognizes distinguished continuing service to the Craft by former state Grand presiding officers nominated by their respective jurisdictions.
